The Good News is that I am doing very well. My children continue to come up with ways to make their mother and me proud, my new job is interesting and rewarding, and I am busier with good things that ever.
The Bad News is that I have not been able to figure out a way to fit blogging into my schedule.
While I am chary about making promises I may not be able to keep, I hope to be able to produce a blog post this weekend for posting next week and if it works, I would very much like to resume posting once or twice a week going forward. The recent events in Norway (and today's arrest of a Jihadi "conscientious objector" for plotting to re-visit the Fort Hood massacre) cry out for a Psychological perspective on "crazy" versus evil behavior.
I apologize for my extended silence and appreciate the good wishes of all who sent me e-mails. I meant to post a response but as each day passed without the time or internal impetus, it became harder and harder to figure out exactly what to say about my hiatus. I hope that when next I post I can shed a little light from my corner of the blogosphere.
