If you read nothing else this weekend, read Learning From the Real Battle of Algiers.  Robert Avrech, proprietor of Seraphic Secret, has written a brilliant article for Big Hollywood exposing the long history of cinematic propagandizing that has facilitated Islamic terror.  We have apparently learned very little since the 1950s when it comes to Islamic terror.  Rather than 0ffer an excerpt which would not do it justice, I urge you to read the whole thing.
